Welcome to Montessori Fun!

Please make sure these are returned with a copy of your child's immunization records before school starts

Here is a checklist of things to practice with your child before they attend school:
1. Putting on and talking off Velcro shoes independently
2. Wash and dry hands (we encourage counting to 20 with the soaping process)
3. Drinking from an open cup, and pouring water into it from a small pitcher
4. Use of the toilet independently or with minimal help, practice telling us and asking for help
5. Practice building block towers but instead of knocking them down, take down one at a time also like we do in the classroom
Here is a quick checklist of what to bring on the first day for your child:
1. Paperwork and forms and copy of immunizations submitted
2. A shoe box with their name on it with a change of clothes to remain here, no pull ups please if they are in transition with the potty learning please send diapers or thick underwear with lots of changes
3. A small breakable ceramic or glass cup that fits their hands (demitasse is a good size)
4. Please always be sure we have a phone number to reach you
5. Please send them in closed shoes like tennies, safe to run and climb
6. Slippers with a rubber bottom that they can put on and take off by themselves
7. For full-day students: lunch box with ice option for healthy foods (no desserts, no drink necessary)
