With only 12 children per day, we really get to know each child, and the children and their families form lasting friendships. Welcome to Montessori Fun! Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us! We enjoy offering a rich environment for the children to learn, grow, play and make friends. We welcome you to take a tour and learn about what we offer to our students.
Montessori Fun welcomes students regardless of race, gender, national and ethnic origin, and is non-discriminatory in all our policies. We accept children between the ages of 2½ and 5.
There are no specific academic entrance requirements; however, we base admission decisions on many factors, especially your child’s age and readiness for our program.
Please contact us regarding availability for your child, and to schedule your personal tour of our school. We will be happy to answer your questions and provide additional information about our educational programs.

Our mission is to empower children with social and academic skills, responsibility, confidence, respect for others, love for school and learning, and appreciation for our world and its beauty and balance.
Our Teachers
We have the consistency of the same nurturing teachers every day. Diane and Kristin are both experienced teachers, are current in first aid and CPR, are vaccinated, and are also Moms so we understand how rewarding and challenging parenting can be!
Diane Rose
I am Diane Rose and I am the owner and teacher of Montessori Fun. I established this program with a few Montessori activities in my living room, and my own children when they were toddlers! I have a California Teachers Credential (emphasis in early childhood) and a Montessori Teachers Training Certificate, has over 25 years of experience working with preschoolers and toddlers. I am blessed to have Kristin and Ashley here with me, they are wonderful with the children; truly patient and kind and we all work well together. I have three grown children, and now I have two grandbabies! I added Spanish to the daily curriculum and love teaching the language joyously with song, dance, stories and fingerplays. “Each child is different and it is truly a pleasure to get to know every individual. We do our best to give them the foundation for their education: love for learning, successful social skills, and positive self-esteem. I am so lucky to have a job I love!”

Ashley Amador
Ashley Amador is our assistant teacher and helps with everything! She is a student at SRJC. Ashley joined us in 2022 and has grown so much already as a teacher showing warmth kindness and patience.
Kristin Ohlson
Hi, my name is Kristin! I live in Healdsburg with my husband and our two girls! I have over 15 years of preschool experience and over 36 units of ECE. I love hiking, camping, and cooking. What I love most about teaching preschool children is being able to nurture each individual child and watch them grow. I look forward to working with your child and sharing in the fun of learning new things.
