Welcome to Montessori Fun!
The first step is to schedule an appointment for a tour! You may bring your child, or if you prefer, make another appointment once you decide if this is a good match for your family. Please discuss your child's readiness with Diane. Once you have submitted a registration form with payment, you are officially on the roster!
Readiness: We base admission decisions on many factors, including your child’s age. The more they are here, the more they learn, and children thrive on consistency. To prepare for school, you can practice: drinking from an open cup, putting on and taking off shoes and socks, washing and drying hands effectively, not putting non-food items in the mouth, and sitting and listening to a story. Potty training is preferable, but if you are still working on it, we will accept your child. We can help you with potty training by helping assess readiness and coaching you during this process.
Reading is the single most beneficial thing you can do with your child! It benefits their language development, vocabulary, concentration, focus, and love of books as a pleasure. Read books with them every day!! They learn with repetition, so repeat favorites at their request!

Full Day MWF 8:30-2:30 Annually $7740 Split into 10 payments
Mornings MWF 8:30-11:30 Annually $4250 Split into 10 payments
Afternoons (11:30-2:30 Annually $4250 Split into 10 payments
Calendar based upon WUSD calendar holidays and closed summers
How do I apply?
- Schedule a tour here on the website or text 707-292-3051
- Discuss your child's readiness and what you are looking for with the teacher who gives the tour. Bring all your questions!
- Submit the registration fee, one month's payment, with the registration form. We take Venmo, cash, or check, and can set up auto payments. We prorate if you start after the first day of school in August, and our bookkeeper, Ingrid Clark, can help create a payment plan that works for you
- .Once you have submitted a registration form with payment, you are officially on the roster!
Admissions Process
We know it’s not easy to select the right school for your child. We understand and appreciate the trust level necessary for us to care for your little one. I am available by text during the day to check in on how your child is doing and I love to take photos of the children at work and play here and send them to you.
1. Schedule a guided tour of our school to discuss questions and the best options for your family’s needs. Feel free to make another tour appointment for a second look, or you would like your spouse or extended family to meet us.
2. When we agree we are a great fit for each other, return an application registration form with your $150 registration fee to reserve your child’s spot. The first of your 10 annual payments is due June 1. If this first payment is not received by the 5th you will forfeit your child’s spot in the school. The registration fee is non-refundable, however, we have a two-week trial period during which if you are not happy with the school you will be refunded everything except the initial registration fee and the hours your child was here. We are confident that your child will love it here and learn a lot!
